Norman Grooms was convicted of possessing crack cocaine with intent to distribute in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1) in the United States District Court for the Western District of Virginia. He argues on appeal that the trial court twice abused its discretion in admitting evidence on behalf of the government.
