MORSE, Justice.

Roger Blackburn was convicted of lewd and lascivious conduct with a child. See 13 V.S.A. § 2602. He appeals his conviction on the ground that hearsay statements made by the child to a Social and Rehabilitation Services (SRS) caseworker and a police officer were not admissible under V.R.E. 804a because taken in "preparation for a legal proceeding." We affirm.
