The defendant appeals from his conviction, after a jury trial, of sexual assault in the first degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-70 (a).1 The defendant claims that the trial court improperly (1) precluded evidence of prior sexual conduct of the victim, and (2) failed to rule on reopening the evidence to hear new evidence.
