A St. Martin Parish grand jury indicted Scott Jude Bourque for the first degree murder of his estranged girlfriend, Charlotte Perry, in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:30. After trial by jury, the defendant was found guilty as charged and unanimously sentenced to death after two aggravating circumstances were found.
