This medical malpractice action arises out of the death of plaintiff's wife, Sandy M. Citron (hereinafter decedent), while a patient at defendant on March 19, 1987. A review of the record reveals that decedent, then 26 weeks pregnant, contacted Richard Temple, her obstetrician, on that day.
