Defendant, Lionel Bell, was charged with three counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault and one count of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. After a bench trial, the trial court found him guilty of all four counts. The court then sentenced him to a term of nine years. On appeal, defendant contends that the State failed to prove the element of penetration necessary to the offense of aggravated criminal sexual assault...
