Plaintiffs, Robert and Vicki Maranto, filed suit against defendants, Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company ("Goodyear") and Goodyear's insurer, Traveler's Insurance Company ("Travelers"), seeking damages for injuries arising out of an automobile accident.
