This case involves issues of insurance coverage and liability for damages sustained in a rear end collision. On May 18, 1988, a vehicle owned by the Cameron Parish Police Jury and operated by August LeDoux struck the rear of the vehicle operated by Laura Avery. It appears that she was the sole occupant of the vehicle. The accident occurred inside of a cloud of black smoke which had originated from a grass fire on property adjacent to Louisiana State...
