In these consolidated cases, nonparty-appellants The Detroit News, Inc., and Detroit Free Press, Inc., appeal by leave granted from a Detroit Recorder's Court order affirming an order of the 36th District Court denying media access to the competency report prepared in the underlying criminal case.
