HUNSTEIN, Justice.

Richard Tyler Harris shot and killed Charles Mack and shot Wayne Jinks. Harris was indicted for malice murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He pled guilty to the possession charge and was convicted of malice murder and aggravated assault. Harris appeals from the denial of his motion for new trial and we affirm.1
