Willie Nelson brought this action to recover benefits from U.S. Steel, under the Workmen's Compensation Act of Alabama. Nelson alleged that while working for U.S. Steel, he sustained an injury to his thumb that resulted in a permanent partial disability to his body as a whole. Following oral proceedings, the trial court found that Nelson's work-related accident resulted in a permanent loss of 54% of his earning capacity...
