The issues raised on the appeal and cross-appeal concern a construction contract dispute which arose between subcontractor United Aluma-Glass Company, Inc. ["UAG"] and Bratton Corp. concerning work for the Hillsborough County, Florida Detention Facility East project. Following a jury trial, $262,957.24 was awarded to UAG against Bratton Corp. (subcontractor) as damages for its work on the project and for loss of business value of UAG resulting...
