Bridges was charged with one count of burglary and one count of theft by taking. He entered a plea of guilty on August 3, 1992 and was sentenced to seven years, five years in prison and two years of probation. With respect to the burglary plea, the portion of the judgment entitled "Other Conditions of Probation" included a fine, probation fee and court costs.
