Hollaway sued two of her step-children contesting her late husband's will and seeking an accounting, recovery of estate property, and equitable relief. The trial court found that certain instruments, a promissory note and certificates of deposit, were not part of the decedent's estate and not subject to Mattie Hollaway's elective share.
