The defendant, Bruce Browning, was convicted by a jury of theft by taking a motor vehicle and sentenced to five years' imprisonment. The defendant subsequently moved for a new trial, and in support of this motion, filed several affidavits, including affidavits from two of the jurors and an affidavit from the victim. Following a hearing and consideration of the arguments, briefs, record and transcript, the trial court denied the defendant's motion...
