Following a bench trial, James M. Wimbs was convicted of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, with intent to deliver, RCW 69.50.401(a)(1)(iii). His standard range sentence was enhanced by 24 months pursuant to RCW 9.94A.310(5) because the crime occurred within 1,000 feet of a school ground, in violation of RCW 69.50.435(a).
