Originally, Medine pled not guilty but changed his plea to guilty under North Carolina v. Alford, 400 U.S. 25, 91 S.Ct. 160, 27 L.Ed.2d 162 (1970), reserving his rights under State v. Crosby, 338 So.2d 584 (La.1976) to contest the denial of his motion...
