Defendant Larry James (James) was charged with two counts of aggravated assault (Ill.Rev.Stat.1991, ch. 38, par. 12-2(a)(13)) and two counts of aggravated discharge of a firearm (Ill.Rev.Stat.1991, ch. 38, par. 24-1.2(a)(2)). After a bench trial, James was found guilty of all charges and, according to the mittimus, sentenced to six years' imprisonment on the two convictions for aggravated discharge of a firearm.
