Petitioner appeals from the dismissal of her claim for workers compensation dependency benefits based on the death of John Brinker.

Petitioner and the decedent began living together in 1975, when they were both in their early twenties, and maintained an exclusive romantic relationship for the next twelve years until decedent was shot and killed during the course of his employment
