WALSH, Justice:

In this appeal from the Superior Court, the appellants contend that the trial court erred in refusing to grant a new trial in view of the inadequacy of the award of damages and allegedly improper comments of counsel. We conclude that the comments of defendants' counsel in closing argument before the jury were clearly improper and it was error for the trial court to refuse to provide a curative instruction....
