In these consolidated cases, plaintiffs/counterdefendants, Celia Adair and Joy Management Company, appeal by leave granted from a circuit court order holding that the counterclaims of defendant, the City of Detroit, could be maintained as a class action. We reverse and remand for proceedings consistent with this opinion.
