Following a bench trial, the defendant, Rodney L. Weninger, was convicted of two counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault (Ill.Rev.Stat.1991, ch. 38, par. 12-14(b)(1)) and one count of criminal sexual assault (Ill.Rev.Stat.1991, ch. 38, par. 12-13(a)(3)). The victim, T.W., was the defendant's 10-year-old adopted daughter. The defendant was subsequently sentenced to concurrent terms of 15, 15 and 12...
