The appellant, Spencer Owen Ziglar, was charged with murder for intentionally causing the death of Edward Lamar Kelley by shooting him with a shotgun, in violation of § 13A-6-2, Code of Alabama 1975. The jury found the appellant guilty of the lesser included offense of manslaughter.
