The question posed by this certified appeal is whether the Appellate Court properly affirmed the judgment of the trial court dismissing the plaintiff Harry Hyatt's action, brought pursuant to General Statutes § 31-300,1 seeking the recovery of a sum allegedly due the plaintiff from a compensation award previously rendered against the city of Milford.2
