Paluch, filed a four-count complaint pursuant to the Wrongful Death Act (Ill.Rev.Stat. 1987, ch. 70, par. 1 et seq.) on behalf of herself and James Paluch, decedent's minor son, following decedent's accidental death on July 18, 1987.
