This is a medical-malpractice action brought on behalf of Antonio Castaneda, a minor, to recover damages allegedly sustained by him as the result of the claimed negligent failure by Thomas E. Pederson, M.D., an ophthalmologist, to diagnose Antonio's brain tumor, which allegedly caused Antonio's regression from poor sight to total blindness.
