Appellant, John Covrett, was indicted by the Franklin County Grand Jury for one count of aggravated robbery, in violation of R.C. 2911.01, one count of kidnapping, in violation of R.C. 2905.01, and one count of theft, in violation of R.C. 2913.02. Each count carried with it the specification that, on March 22, 1983, appellant had been convicted of aggravated robbery.
