John L. Culp ("Culp") was indicted on four counts of income tax evasion in violation of 26 U.S.C. § 7201 and four counts of failure to file income tax returns in violation of 26 U.S.C. § 7203, and arraigned on June 20, 1990. On August 15, 1991, Culp moved to have his case dismissed pursuant to the Speedy Trial Act, 18 U.S.C. § 3161, et seq., and the motion was denied.
