The plaintiff, Daniel Drew, brought this action seeking damages against the defendants for the wrongful cutting and logging of trees located on Drew's land. The defendants cross-claimed against each other for indemnity and then filed a joint motion to confess judgment in the amount of $2,000. Drew rejected the motion.
