Petitioner and respondents own adjoining tracts of land in Union County, North Carolina. Respondents' land lies between petitioner's land and a public way, Sikes Mill Road. This case involves a 20-foot wide road which runs from petitioner's property over that of respondents to Sikes Mill Road. Petitioner filed suit against respondents upon their denying his request for a 60-foot wide right-of-way and the right to run a water line across respondents'...
