ABRAMS, J.

The defendant, John H. Murphy, appeals from his conviction of bribery, in violation of G.L.c. 268A, § 2 (a) (1990 ed.).1 Murphy alleges that the judge erred in amending the indictment and in his supplemental instruction to the jury on reasonable doubt. We transferred this case on our own motion. We affirm.
