ALPERT, Judge.

Appellant, Cortez Dion Hunt, was charged in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County on two drug-related offenses, (1) possession of cocaine, and (2) possession with intent to distribute cocaine. The jury convicted appellant on the simple possession count, but was unable to reach a verdict on the possession with intent to distribute count. As a result, a mistrial was declared on the distribution count and a retrial was subsequently scheduled for April...
