Ronald P. Hlavinka brought this action against Blunt, Ellis & Loewi, John Fromm, and Peter Pfeffer, seeking compensatory and punitive damages for losses Hlavinka sustained in trading silver futures. His amended complaint asserted negligence and breach-of-contract claims.
