In December 1987, Roger Freeman sought judicial review of the denial of his application for social security disability benefits. The district court affirmed, and Freeman appealed. While the appeal was pending, the Secretary of Health and Human Services requested that the case be remanded for consideration of evidence from a vocational expert.
