This is an action to recover compensation for personal injuries suffered by Tracy Szarzynski who, when she was approximately twelve years old, was injured while attending Camp Minikani, a recreational facility owned and operated by the defendant YMCA. Cindy Belanger, Szarzynski's mother, paid $362 for Szarzynski to spend 14 days at the camp. The trial court dismissed the action on the ground that the YMCA is a "nonprofit organization," as that term is used...
