This action is before this Court upon an appeal from the June 11, 1991, order of the Circuit Court of Putnam County, West Virginia. The appellant, Brian E. Slaman, was convicted of manufacturing a controlled substance. The appellant was sentenced to one to five years in prison, but the sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for five years.
