Charles Conaway gave the government financial records to prove he paid his taxes. Analysis of the records led to a different conclusion and a jury convicted him of multiple counts of tax evasion. Conaway mounts four challenges to his convictions, alleging that the government broke an agreement not to prosecute him, that he produced his records during plea negotiations, that the government incorrectly estimated his actual income...
