These are appeals by plaintiff-appellant, Salvatore A. Cordiano, from the judgments of the Court of Common Pleas of Crawford County in favor of defendant-appellee, Consolidated Rail Corporation ("Conrail").

Prior to 1989, Cordiano, while employed by Conrail, sustained injuries to his ears due to exposure to loud noises. As a result of these injuries, Cordiano suffered a hearing loss. Cordiano and Conrail then agreed to a settlement of $7,500...
