The appellant, Donald Williams, brought this action against E.I. DuPont de Nemours and Company (DuPont) alleging that he sustained injuries as a result of his use of DuPont's paint products. Williams's theory of liability was that DuPont had negligently failed to warn him of the hazards of its products and that DuPont had breached its express and implied warranties.
