AGID, J.

Pedro Angulo appeals his convictions for first degree assault and possession of a controlled substance on the ground that his right to a speedy trial under CrR 3.3 was violated. We affirm.

Angulo was charged by amended information with one count of attempted murder in the first degree and two counts of possession of a controlled substance. He was arraigned on those charges on January 19, 1990, and remained in custody. Trial was scheduled for April...
