Petitioner Gordon Stanley, an Ohio prisoner, appeals from the judgment of the district court dismissing his petition for a writ of habeas corpus filed pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254. On appeal, the issues are (1) whether Ohio's involuntary manslaughter statute, O.R.C. § 2903.04, contains a constitutionally satisfactory element of mental culpability, and (2) whether the trial jury was correctly instructed as to that element of the case...
