MADARIS v. STATE

A92A2109.

207 Ga. App. 145 (1993)

427 S.E.2d 110

MADARIS v. THE STATE.

Court of Appeals of Georgia.

Decided January 22, 1993.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

Cowen & Cowen, Martin L. Cowen III, for appellant.

Robert E. Keller, District Attorney, Gina C. Shuman, Deborah C. Benefield, Assistant District Attorneys, for appellee.

BLACKBURN, Judge.

The appellant, Michael Madaris, was convicted of one count of armed robbery, for which he was sentenced to ten years' imprisonment. On appeal, he contends that the trial court erred in admitting into evidence testimony recounting prior consistent statements of the victim, and in denying his motion for new trial on the ground that the verdict was strongly against the weight of the evidence.
