Appellant, Joyce Merling, filed a caveat in the Circuit Court for Harford County, sitting as the orphans' court, challenging a will executed in 1986 by Sara E. Holliday, the testator. Appellant, who was the personal representative named in an earlier will, alleged that the 1986 will was procured through undue influence and that the testatrix was incompetent at the time of its execution.
