After a trial without jury, a Superior Court judge found that the defendant landlord unreasonably refused to consent to the assignment of a restaurant lease, thereby causing the plaintiff to suffer damages in the amount of $379,322. The judge also found that the defendant unlawfully interfered with the plaintiff and awarded similar loss of profit damages.
