The Supreme Court granted summary judgment in favor of the plaintiff, Lillian Mannino, and declared that the defendant Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Central New York, Inc., is obligated to indemnify her against all costs related to a bone marrow transplant which was needed in order to treat a disease, i.e., leukemia, which she had contracted before the effective date of the defendant's health insurance...
