On September 7, 1984, the roof on two large terminal buildings at the Kansas City International Airport came loose in a windstorm. Sarnafil, Inc. (Sarnafil), a Massachusetts corporation, had supplied the roofing material, and D.C. Taylor Company (Taylor) had installed it.
