Rasmussen, guilty of the murder of his wife, in violation of General Statutes § 53a-54a.1 The defendant has appealed to this court pursuant to General Statutes § 51-199 (b) (3) from the judgment of the trial court sentencing him to a term of imprisonment of thirty-five years.
