Jess White, a prisoner at Pruntytown Correctional Center, West Virginia, brought this pro se action under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 (1988) alleging that prison officials were denying him three meals a day in violation of his civil rights under the Eighth Amendment to the United States Constitution.
