The plaintiffs, Neil Forbes and Marilyn Forbes, appeal from a judgment of the trial court granting a motion to strike filed by the defendants,1 the city of Shelton, Frank Kullberg and John Cook.2 On appeal, the plaintiffs claim that the trial court improperly concluded that (1) their claims against the city of Shelton were time barred by the provisions of General Statutes § 7-465
