The sole question presented by this appeal is whether a trial court may render a judgment of contempt after an appellate court has reversed the underlying order where the acts constituting the contempt occurred prior to the reversal.1 We conclude that the sanction of contempt may be imposed on a party for the willful failure to pay any sums due under an order of child support that is on appeal at the time of the nonpayment...
